Top Twelve Reasons for Twitter Drive-Bys

1. Everyone else seems to be in on a really funny joke and you don't get it.

2. You try to join in the conversation and no one seems to notice.

3. You're thinking you're obviously not cool enough for this.

4. You finally come up with something clever to say and the subject has already changed.

5. You notice that your only followers are just trying to sell you something lame.

6. You're almost positive you are not cool enough for this.

7. No one retweets your tweets...

8. No matter how much you tweet, it doesn't seem enough.

9. It seems to be easy for everybody else...You're obviously doing something wrong.

10.It seems as if no matter how clever you are, it doesn't seem clever enough.

11.You get bored retweeting other people's tweets.

12.You're convinced you're not cool enough for the twitter in-crowd.

For all of you in the twitter in-crowd...this may help you understand members of the twitter drive-by club...I am proud to say I am a former member...thanks in part to those of you who have taken the time, had the patience and exhibited extreme non-judgementalness (to my face anyway!) to coach me. And yes, there are times when I think I'm not clever or cool enough for twitter, but they no longer keep me away.
