I've Gotta Feeling That Today's Gonna Be a Good Day!

Ever since Bill aka @culturedude and Susan @culturebabe brought this video to my attention I've been playing it to launch every session I do and sometimes just to start or energize my day.

Here is how my day started. At 2:45am, my cat and social media hero @BrewskieButt awakened me throwing up, after several barfisodes earlier in the evening. Five hours later, I called the vet and canceled all work appointments, partly to stay home with a sick kitty and partly because the impending snowstorm in Ohio would be canceling the appointments anyway. I followed the vet's orders (who knew you could give cats 1/4 a human Pepcid?) and lay in bed with the cats, watching the snow through the window, and worrying about all the schtuff my "inner critic" had to remind me of.

Brewskie's health. How am I going to pay the rent when all these snowstorms keep canceling my appointments? All my Twitter pals voted me to be a finalist in the Shorty Awards but I can't afford to get to NYC for the ceremony next month. Who am I kidding about this being a good day?

Then I get out of bed, and get on the computer. My local convention and visitors bureau is working on getting my sponsors to go to the Shorties in NYC! Brewskie has not retched since 2:45am! The snow is really, quite beautiful!
