I know I should not fear the unknown and I should embrace all it sees.
Things are only momentarily hidden and not understood so I search
The future contains wonders I can’t imagine in dimension and girth.
My luggage has been packed and unpacked and repacked twice yesterday,
The tools I have acquired will aid me as I move forward from a place I can’t stay.
The shoulder bag drags my weight deeper into the ground as I step forward
Begining a quest I should have taken long ago with no fanfare and not a word.
I have found myself and I am somewhat clearer on who I am and what it is I seek.
I’ve seen a sign from the prophets, now my own Emissary; I’ll listen when I speak.
To let go of a past you held as close to your chest as a mother does her child,
Is the hardest thing any man can be asked to do but, to hold on to long is futile.
The stars have all been drained of their wishes and I must go too replenish them.
My magic wand casts no more enchanting spells as I wave it up to the heavens.
I take my steps into the unknown, and I release myself from my groundings.
Each point of light grows brighter now and my heart races with unfamiliarity.
And so it goes...Again...
