What is your Ultimate Career Lifestyle?

I’ve had some time to really consider this. I wanted to really think about it and put down exactly my ‘ideal’ career lifestyle. One thing I’ve found…it’s constantly evolving. I may be young by career standards, but I’ve learned a thing or two. More than not having a job, I’m afraid of settling. No matter what, I refuse to settle. I know what I want, and more importantly, what I DON’T want. We said ULTIMATE Career lifestyle, so here goes:

There’s only one me, so I have to take care of myself first and foremost….what’s a career if I’m not in the best of health to enjoy it. I want to be connected to people. I want more than anything to help them be witness to their own UCL. Without the urging of very smart friends, I wouldn’t have taken the time to really consider the definition of making a lifestyle out of my career. For that, I am extremely grateful. I want to instill that confidence in someone else. It can happen, and why shouldn’t it?! I know it sounds corny, but I really do want to make it a goal to motivate others. I want them to feel as alive as I do at this very moment. All because they stopped to consider the possibility in getting the most out of their career. I want to be a mentor, someone who inspires. I get motivated and excited at the prospect of helping someone else see the reality in their dreams. Networking, is by far, the greatest tool in your search for the UCL…I’ve learned that all too well. I want a flexible schedule and disposable income, so that I can find time to enjoy my personal life and have the financial means to do it. There are so many places I’ve yet to see, and moments I’ve yet to experience, so the ability to travel and live anywhere is a prerequisite. Creativity is a MUST! I thrive on that energy. I want to live the motto, ‘dreams do become reality.' And in the end, when someone is standing in my shoes, I want them to say, 'hey, I know someone that I can call on…’
I want my name to come to mind…I want to be famous to someone!

Creative and energetic…i’m always striving to stand-out and be memorable. I don’t believe that a moment should go by when you don’t have fun. Dancing, dancing, dancing. Music energizes me, I can dance in the car (occassionaly sing, not that I can), in my living room, out on a Friday night…anywhere there’s music. I love to make others smile (is there a job out there for that?!) Surprises are my favorite thing, and I love to have something to look forward too (I’m a kid at heart!). Interest

Soccer, traveling, cooking (creativity in the kitchen!), water-skiing (I love going to the lake), occasionally sleeping-in, art, daydreaming; I’m inspired by interior design, love clothes and accessories and dream of having my own line someday!

My creativity. Pushing the envelope. I am cutting edge. My background combines the practical/logical with a flair for the creative. I see possibility in everything.

My favorite thing about my generation is?

Our originality and the keen ability to make an impression. We start a commotion.We never settle. We’ve figured out how to combine work and fun. And maybe the most inspiring thing, we don’t take no for an answer. We don’t follow the trend, we start it!
