What is your Ultimate Career Lifestyle?

My ultimate wish has been to own my own place. I have a couple of scenarios that would be great: a bed and breakfast or a jazz club. Either way, I would like to associate it with Teen Canteen or some organization that assists children/teens in need.

About me:

I've been in the restaurant biz for about 30 years now. I started as a hostess and "bean girl" at Cattlemen's on the Redondo Beach Pier and just kept on going. I love this business, but I know that the current economic times may necessitate my focusing my job search in other areas.
I'm married (20 years this March) and have 2 lovely (step) granddaughters - one is in Spain as an exchange student.

Interest

I love living in California! I get to go walking on the beach in January when it's 80 degrees! I also love music - nothing like listening to live performers playing real instruments. My cats are also high on my list of interests and I will be volunteering at a local pet sanctuary where we got one of our cats.

Social awareness - testing the First Amendment with anti Vietnam War protests, "the summer of love" attitude, and we also produced some great musicians
