I heard about this book from a "Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders" show of all places.

I guess I need to find the book. How does it differ from "A Purpose Driven Life ?"

It's enabled me to enjoy the special moments life has to offer. We get so caught up in the rat race. I think back at all the times I was physically present but not all there mentally or emotionally. It makes you realize that all you have is the present moment. So many of us just assume that our thoughts control us, that there is no way to turn off that little voice in our head. E.T. teaches us that we in fact can rise above our thoughts and we can control them. A difficult concept for most because many of us don't think we have the time to stop and focus on acheiving a higher level of consciousness.

Anything by Eckhart Tolle is amazing. I can honestly say that reading and listening to him has changed my life. He gets you so outside the box that life finally starts to make sense and you feel so at peace with yourself. Reading his books is like going to therapy. This latest is now one of my new favorites. What have others gotten out of it? We all interpret things different, thoughts???
