The Interview!

Have you ever been in an interview where you felt that the person interviewing you didn't have the knowledge to do so? It's really not that unusual.

Most of us don't have the experience to properly interview a prospective new employee, or interview for a new position ourselves.

Please share some of your thoughts and experiences on interviewing, whether it's hiring or searching for a position.

I had an interview and the interviewer was "required" to ask 200 questions of me.
Some were ridiculous and had nothing to do with the job !

The other thiing (same interview, no less), was the interviewer read my resume' and went over it with her pencil.
I mentioned a date in my employment history. I said "March" She said "Your resume' says "February".

It was the most bizarre interview I had ever been involved in.

I like the appointments where it is more of a conversation and not a "formal" board of directors type interview.
Trying to get an appointment to see a firm in Springfield. I have a feeling they think I want to stay all day
for an interview. They kind of hem and haw. We'll see.; ▶ Reply to This
